With over seven million singles sold, Felix Jaehn is currently one of Germany’s hottest musical exports. A DJ and producer, he will receive the “Entertainment” award at the 68th BAMBI ceremony in Berlin’s Stage Theater on 17 November, and will appear on the BAMBI stage.

Felix Jaehn’s breakthrough came in 2015 with his remix of the song “Cheerleader”, a number 1 hit in over 50 countries that made him the first German to top the US charts since 1989. Jaehn has received a total of 15 gold and 59 platinum discs. “Ain’t Nobody” (featuring Jasmine Thompson) was the hit of summer 2015 and spent more than eight weeks at the top of the German singles chart. His latest single, “Bonfire” (featuring Alma), achieved gold status shortly after release.

Felix Jaehn is 22 and grew up in a small town by the Baltic Sea. Today, he performs all over the world, appearing in over 30 countries in 2016 alone and attending top international festivals. He is also the only artist to have given a concert in the newly opened Elbphilharmonie in Hamburg. The BAMBI jury explains: “As a DJ and producer, Felix Jaehn combines the best aspects of various genres and bridges the musical gap between generations.”
